I'm taking part in the 2025 MS Brissie to the Bay to change the lives of people living with neuro conditions!
I’m taking on the MS Brissie to the Bay challenge because I am pushing limits—not just mine, but the limits of what’s possible for people living with MS and neurological conditions.
My Aunty suffered from bulbar onset Motor Neurone disease (MND) also called Progressive Bulbar Palsy or PBP. This debilitating condition starts with a weakness in the face, throat, and tongue. It is a life-limiting condition, and in later stages, other parts of the body, like the arms and legs, may become affected. While life expectancy varies, it was only 8 months from diagnosis to when she passed. Something that was shocking for all the family to witness such a rapid decline. Help us limit the damage these conditions do by considering a tax deductable donation here. Thankyou.
Did you know?
- Over 1 million Queenslanders live with a neurological condition, including MS, Parkinson’s, epilepsy, and MND.
- Many face daily challenges—from mobility struggles to cognitive and sensory changes.
- Just 6% of those living with a neurological condition receive vital support through the NDIS.
That’s why I’m pushing myself—not just physically, but in my fundraising—to ensure no one faces MS or a neurological condition alone.
Please donate today and help power life-changing support and research. Every dollar counts, and together, we can make a lasting impact!
